Disable automatic password on remote login Earlier versions of TeamViewer needed a password entered whenever I remotely accessed my home computer from my laptop. The last 2 versions have not shown anything about password entry, just access my PC as soon as I click 'connect'. Jul 10, 2013 Still no change! TV starts with no 'enter password' prompt when I start up my Mac (Start TeamViewer with system - checked) but as soon as I try and start it when the machine is on up pops the 'Type your password to allow TeamViewer to make changes.' I have tried everything I can think of but nothing seem to work. Firdstly, you don't need an unattended password on the Mac unless you are going to control it from the Acer. It sounds to me like you are stuck in the installation. Are you sure you downloaded the full version of TeamViewer on the Mac? Id restart the Mac, redownload the full TV version. Feb 23, 2013 The thing is it doesnt seem the mac version of TeamViewer to support the VPN goodie. Well since I have it on windows, is there a way to set it up there as just server and then use other (os x) VPN client to connect to it? I cant find much info about the TW VPN online, so i have no idea how to setup something like that and if it's possible at all?
